IML

In-mould labelling is one of the freshest technologies on the market of plastic packaging. It is based on compunding a label made of the same material as the packaging to its corresponding packaging. Such a packaging shows a number of advantages, such as:
- High quality – the label is irreversibly conected to the product, thus the risk of defects typical for paper labels, like unstucking, bleaching or print erasing disappears.
- Top printing quality – higher that the one obtained in direct printing, identical to the one on paper base and with an extra finish – the pearl shine effect.
- Ecological values – both the packaging and the label are made of the same material, which makes them entirely suitable for recycling.
- The IMLs (labels) are applied in such market segments as food (ice creams, cheeses, salads), chemical, cosmetics, motor, and construction industries.
