In 2003, Formika was the first company in Poland to introduce overprinting of this material using the UV flexo technology. The contemporary market proposed overprinting using the rotogravure technology only (unavoidable large expenditures and high costs of pre - press). The novel printing method, however, thanks to its superior quality has won the customers’ approval, reflected by the fact that the company has become the leading Polish manufacturer of this material in just two years’ time, with the market share of approximately 60%. Flexpap is a packaging used for covering stamped PS containers using a thermoforming machine. And this is performed in a single process, together with the ready product stuffing. It is mainly used for packing yoghurts, homogenised cheeses and creams.
